Theauthentic HK USP has a polymer pistol frame complemented by a metal slide. The Co2 bomb is inserted into the metal air pistol magazine, which is also designed for BB pellets. The whole thing then slides into the stock of the gun, along with the ammunition placed in the front of the magazine. Under the barrel of the pistol there is a 22mm rail that can be used for mounting tactical accessories. The safety of the weapon can be found on the left side in front of the hammer in the form of a lever. If the lever is up the gun is locked, if the lever is horizontal with the barrel the gun is unlocked.

The trigger mechanism of the Heckler & Koch USP air pistol works in Double Action mode - pressingm of the trigger occurs at the same time the hammer is cocked and the subsequent shot is fired. The principle of the Co2 system: the cartridge is inserted into the gun and mechanically sealed by impaling it on the firing pin. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer hits the valve stem and the valve opens. This is where the Co2 gas starts to flow out of the canister, which expels the bullet from the barrel.
