Highly sensitive sensor
TheHelion 2 XQ uses a microbolometer for thermal image sensing with a NETD sensitivity of < 40 millikelvin (mK), which characterizes the sensor's ability to distinguish between two nearby points with the smallest possible temperature difference. The lower the NETD value, the better the sensor can detect small temperature differences between objects and separate them from ambient thermal noise. For example, during precipitation, fog or a cold morning, when thesurrounding environment has low temperature contrast and these are the most difficult conditions for thermalIn this case, thanks to the high sensitivity, the sensor will be able to distinguish the smallest temperature differences and the sight will provide the hunter with a clear image with better contrast.
The large aperture lens
The characteristics of the thermal imaging optics have a decisive influence on the ability of the thermal imager to capture even the lowest levels of temperature radiation. Perfect detection is achieved by the Helion 2 XQ38F (F35/1.0) and Helion 2 XQ50F (F50/1.0) thermal imaging camera lenses combined with a highly sensitive sensor. The Helion 2 XQ models always provide users with the highest quality, most detailed and high-contrast images, even in rain or fog, when the contrast of the observed sceneis minimal.
Full-colour AMOLED display
Thefull-colour display uses AMOLED technology, which provides high contrast between white and black, and displays in very vivid colours. AMOLED technology also has the advantage of smooth displaying without slowing down even at very low temperatures and saving power.
Image Boost Technology
Image Boost technology is a patented combination of software algorithms that enhance the sharpness of the contours of thermal objects and deliver unparalleled display quality. Thanks to Image Boost, the image will look sharper, with a very good rendering of even the smallest details of thermal objects, allowing for better detection and identification.
Durable, reliable, all-metal
The Helion 2 XQ on monoculars have a durable yet lightweight all-metal construction. The sight's parts and components are manufactured with precision accuracy guaranteeing years of flawless operation in a variety of climates and deployments, even in difficult terrain.
Variable digital zoom
Up to 8x digital zoom, provides better aiming and overall target recognition at longer distances.
Large detection distance
A powerful lens combined with a professional temperature sensor with NETD sensitivity < 40 mK provides the instrument with exceptional detection capabilities. A standard object with a height of 1.8 m can be detected in total darkness at a distance of up to 1350 m.
Photo and Video Recorder
The built-in video recorder is a great help to acquire and preserve unique memories.
One press of the REC button creates a recording that you can share with friends.
Thebuilt-in 16Gb memory is used to store hours of video footage or create thousands of frames.
Video is saved including audio, so you can add your own commentary to the footage.
Stream Vision app
Using Wi-Fi, the Thermion can be connected to a smartphone or tablet for on-screen viewing, downloading recorded videos and photos, remote control, software updates and many other useful features.
