Reliable outdoor lighting is an essential part of equipment for airsoft games, hiking, camping, fishing, night movements, and emergency situations. It helps to move safely in the terrain, prepare a campsite, mark team members, or illuminate areas without access to electricity.

Headlamps

Chemical light

Chemical light, also known as a lightstick, provides light without the use of batteries, charging, or electricity. It is activated by bending the stick and then shaking it. Thanks to its simple operation, it is suitable for marking trails, campsites, obstacles, luggage, or team members.

Chemical lights are popular for night airsoft games, camping, hiking, fishing, and as part of emergency equipment. They are available in various colors and sizes, allowing specific meanings to be assigned to individual colors. They practically complement survival equipment, first aid kits, or the contents of backpacks and bags.

Marker light

Marker lights are primarily used to enhance visibility and distinguish individuals, groups, or equipment in low-light conditions. They are utilized in airsoft, tactical training, organized night activities, and during movement in the field.

Depending on the specific model, they may offer multiple lighting or flashing modes and attachment options such as Velcro, clips, or hanging loops. Marker lights can be placed on a tactical vest, helmet, backpack, or other gear. For attaching additional equipment, paracord and carabiners may also come in handy.

Lanterns and other lighting

Lanterns and other lighting are designed for evenly illuminating larger spaces. You can use them in a tent, camp, gazebo, workshop, while fishing, or during a power outage. Compared to headlamps, they provide more diffused light, which is more comfortable for relaxing, preparing food, or spending time together in the camp.

When choosing a lantern, consider its light output, battery life, dimensions, hanging options, and power source. Compact models are easy to carry in a hiking backpack, while larger lanterns are suitable for stable campsite lighting. Together with a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and camping cookware, they create practical equipment for multi-day stays in nature.

How to choose the right lighting?

For movement and work with free hands, choose a headlamp. For one-time marking of a trail or equipment, chemical light is suitable, while electronic marker lights are designed for repeated use. For illuminating a tent or campsite, opt for a lantern.
