The Elite Force EF162 is a small tactical knife with a 440A stainless steel blade, sturdy frame lock and anodized aluminum handle. The monolithic frame-lock safety, considered one of the most durable safety mechanisms, protects against accidental folding of the knife. The locking of the blade is not done by an insert in this type of safety, but is directly part of the handle. The handle of the knife has a lightweight sheath made of anodised aluminium. The blades are attached to steel inserts, responsible for the rigidity and strength of the construction. The knife can be carried securely in a trouser pocket, on a belt or on equipment using the double-sided spring clip.
