A new generation of the popular piston with steel teeth from the manufacturer Retro Arms. The piston body is made of Polyamide PA6.6 with 30% carbon fiber and 5% Molybdenum. We strengthened and modified the plastic body of the piston so that it has a better service life.

The steel comb is newly manufactured from material 14260 (54SiCr6), which is spring steel. The hardness of the teeth is 52-54HRC, which is ideal because the teeth are hard, but at the same time flexible and not fragile.

Due to the Molybdenum additive used in the plastic, the plastic body of the piston is not lubricated, but used dry. Most plastics degrade after being contaminated with oil or vaseline, which reduces strength.

We recommend applying Vaseline only to the steel comb.
