Sorbothane is a special shock and vibration absorbing material patented and manufactured in the USA. It is excellent for use as a piston stop in AEG and manual rifles. There are two huge advantages to its use:

- it helps the life of ZnAl gearboxes
- a very good way to quieten your rifle.

Hardness 60 Duro - blue colour is suitable for springs up to SP130 strength.

For high impact and high capacity guns (typically machine guns, for example), where continuous firing of long bursts of 100+BB is expected, we recommend to use a spring force one step lower for a given impact rubber hardness (e.g. for a hardness of 60 sh, choose a spring of max. SP120)
for DMR weapon assemblies where only SEMI firing mode is envisaged, it is possible to choose a spring with a higher spring rate for the given hardness
example for hardness 60 Duro: standard AEG up to SP130, machine gun up to SP120, DMR up to SP140
