The ASCU is a two-piece electronic module (the sensor control unit ) that, when installed in a weapon, greatly improves its performance. The traditional contact system has been replaced by a sensor unit tracking the actual piston position. The software then controls the motor using the Active Brake MOSFET.

Gen.5 includes :

ASCU improves mechabox v.3 and makes the gun comparable to TOP brands. The system operates regardless of trigger pull speed and is responsible for the complete execution of the piston cycle even in single and burst firing modes. After each shot, the piston stops at the starting position. The ASCU is designed not to damage the Li-po batteries. The system speeds up the trigger response, which is virtually instantaneous compared to the conventional system. The sensing unit monitors the toothed segment and thus the entire system is able to perform a complete mechabox cycle.

The ASCU controls the battery charge level and prevents over-discharge, which is very important when using LiPo, LiIon, LiFe. It saves the battery and makes it last longer. The module detects problems and deficiencies, interrupts the voltage source thanks to sound and vibration, does not allow the mechanism to become more damaged. This gives us more options than System PTW with much lower installation costs, allowing us to use a wide range of spare parts for standard V2 and V3 mechaboxes.

The ASCU system is CE certified and meets the requirements of the RoHS directive.
