The piston head is made of duralumin on precision CNC machines. 9 holes are drilled on the front side. Air flows through these holes when squeezed, which expands the seal ring and this better seals the port between the piston head and the cylinder. The piston head includes an axial ball bearing that allows easy rotation during compression.
