The piston head is made of Dural. The resulting weight is very low, 11,9g. There are 9 holes drilled on the front side. Air flows through these holes when squeezed, which expands the seal ring and this better seals the port between the piston head and the cylinder. The piston head includes an axial ball bearing that allows easy rotation during compression.
