TheComTac IV headset is equipped with two active microphones (one at each earpiece) that pick up external sounds. The volumecontrol is located on the left side of the headset. Any sounds that are hazardous to hearing are muted to a level that is safe for your ears. When this type of sound is turned off, the headset settings return to the original settings.

The headset comes with an adjustable headband that easily adaptsto each user with its design . The specific design of the headset allows it to be removable and thus minimizes the weight of the design. The set is equipped with a microphone that can be attached to either the left or right side of the headset. The headset is powered by two AA batteries. Each earpiece has space for one battery.
