The Mini SFR (Super Fast Refresh) is the latest controller from Redline Airsoft. The Mini SFR has the same performance and features as our standard SFR controller, but in a smaller package. It works equally well with standard high output tanks and low output SLP type tanks. Like the standard SFR, the Mini SFR is a fully balanced regulator. Why is this important?

Unbalanced regulators are subject to the so-called "supply pressure effect". This means that the output pressure of unbalanced controllers is affected by changes in the input pressure. Unbalanced regulators can have a very large pressure change when their supply tank empties. This can cause a drop in speed when the supply tank pressure drops.

Since the Mini SFR regulator is balanced, its output pressure is not affected by changes in its input pressure. This means that even if the tank empties, the output pressure of the Mini SFR, and therefore the velocity of the gun, will remain unchanged. This makes it possible to shoot virtually without emptying the air tank without any reduction in performance. In effect, you thus have more shots per tank.

The Mini SFR is the only balanced regulator sold for use in airsoft. The Q.D. on the end of the regulator hose allows the hose to be quickly disconnected from the air system, even with the system still pressurized, for quick and easy tank refills. Now even with the hose fully integrated into the vest/harness, refilling tanks is easy .

We recommend using only TechT Gun Sav to lubricate the Mini SFR regulator.
