The pouch is designed to minimize the effects associated with damage (shorting or puncturing) of the Li-Po battery. The most important thing is to follow all regulations regarding the safe use of Li-Po batteries. In the event of a burn, the pouch will minimize the amount of air between the battery and extinguish it. Never leave a rechargeable battery unattended or leave it on a flammable surface.
