Redline N7 Gen2 is HPA's patented cylinder exchange system. It is an updated version of the legendary N7 system. The very first HPA engine with a single solenoid and a true closed bolt. Like the original N7 engine, the N7 Gen-2 uses a single solenoid, has a forward shifted nozzle, and fires from a true closed bolt. The most significant change from the original N7 motor is the removal of the external air line to the nozzle. The internal components have been updated and the size of the air chamber has been slightly reduced. This means you get the same performance and ease of setup that the original N7 engines were known for.
With a truly enclosed screw design and balanced air return to the nozzle, the N7 Gen-2 engine is a step up from the typicalm HPA engine with an open bolt, it is much more consistent in seating the bullet in the cartridge case from shot to shot. This results in more consistent velocity from shot to shot, tighter grouping, and greater accuracy at distance compared to open-screw HPA motors.
Like the original N7, the N7 Gen-2 uses a mechanically sealed ejection chamber. Rather than relying on solenoid control of the volume of air used to drive the ball, the N7 Gen-2 fills the internal air chamber with pressure set by an external user-adjusted supply regulator.
When fired, this air chamber is mechanically closed off from the air supply and the chamber contents are released into the barrel to propel the BB. This feature contributes to the N7 Gen-2's excellent shot consistency while avoiding wasted air due to improper throughput adjustment. The N7 Gen-2 is very easy to set up. Since there is no poppet dwell to adjust, just set the feed regulators output pressure to match the desired joules and you're good to go. The correct amount of air is needed for each shot regardless of bullet weight, barrel length or any other factor.
Themaximum inlet pressure is 120 psi.
The FCU unit is programmable for:
1: Nozzle duration.
2: Semi-automatic maximum rate of fire
3: Fully automatic mode / Burst mode
4: Fully automatic rate of fire
5: Anti Stiction Pulse
6: Selector position
