Winner of the "Best HPA Engine" award at the 9th Annual Airsoft Players Choice Awards.
The F2 provides a more compact, streamlined and flexible design than the legendary Fusion Engine.
Dual solenoids allow the nozzle and plate valve to be adjusted independently of each other for unparalleled control over loading time and volume of air used. In addition, this allows the firing sequence to be changed, giving it the ability to operate in both true closed bolt and "AEG" mode.
The F2 incorporates a new one-piece, lightweight plate valve design, but still operates on the same principle as the Fusion Engine plate valve. This valve is able to operate at lower pressures and uses a smaller volume of air to operate, optimizing air efficiency.
The robust design allows for an operating pressure range of 45 psi to 145 psi, allowing the F2 to reach speeds from CQB to DMR using only one nozzle for the entire speed setting range.
Its nozzle is spring preloaded, providing consistent loading force regardless of operating pressure, with both light and heavy duty springs available to adjust loading force.
Compatible with Blaster Gel
F2 HPA conversion kits can also be configured for use in gel blasters.
Speed:
The F2 allows for easy speed adjustment by simply changing the inlet pressure and does not need different nozzles to achieve the full speed range. Using the standard M4 as an example, speeds can be set from less than 280 fps up to approximately 480 fps with 0.20g BB. The speed may vary by model, as longer barrels will increase the maximum speed, while shorter barrels will decrease it.
ROF:
Several factors affect the maximum cycling rate of the F2, such as operating pressure, as well as the quality of the magazine and BBs used. However, 30 rounds per second can be achieved in most standard configurations.
Air efficiency:
The standard F2™ plate valve is the equivalent of the Fusion Engine™ low flow red plate valve. However, this valve responds faster and requires less air volume to operate, so the F2™ is capable of higher air efficiency than even the finely tuned Fusion Engine.
Speed: 480 frames per second at 0.20 g @ 145 psi
ROF: 30 RPM
Air Efficiency: 1,000+ shots from 13/3,000 at 1.5 J with 0.28 g
Weight: 200g
